PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently discriminating an anthocyanin-producing tomato by discriminating character of anthocyanin accumulation in a tomato fruit.;SOLUTION: The method for discriminating an anthocyanin-producing tomato comprises analyzing sequence of ANT1 genome gene of a hybrid tomato obtained by mating Solanum lycopersicum LA1996 which is an anthocyanin-producing tomato with tomato non-producing anthocyanin and discriminating whether the tomato is anthocyanin-producing tomato or not, based on the analysis result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
