PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for setting tinnitus alleviating information, an apparatus for alleviating tinnitus, and a method for setting tinnitus alleviating information which set information for alleviating a tinnitus sound by effectively using a main frequency component from the tinnitus sound including a plurality of frequency components.;SOLUTION: When an approximation sound resembling a tinnitus sound characteristic of a patient is inputted, a signal generator 10 searches a main frequency component of the approximation sound, generates a pure sound signal and outputs the signal to a main unit 30b of a computer as pure sound data via an A/D converter 20. The main unit 30b of the computer generates phase adjustment data having a phase difference with respect to the pure sound data on the basis of operations of a keyboard 30a, sets identification color data and generates a tinnitus alleviating sound signal on the basis of the phase adjustment data, displays the identification color data on a display 30d and inputs the tinnitus alleviating sound signal to the head M of the patient.
