PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a lifetime of a weld zone of a high-temperature apparatus, capable of evaluating fatigue damage and also evaluating a lifetime of a weld zone of a high-temperature apparatus more precisely than that evaluated by the conventional technology, in consideration of changes in stress caused by creep deformation in the damage process of a creep damage.;SOLUTION: The evaluation cross section of the weld zone of a major portion is set to the creep damage and average stress to this evaluation cross section of the weld zone is calculated from each load (110).
