PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow transition metal complex having an oily phase in the interior, in the hollow transition metal complex formed into a hollow lattice structure by a bidentate organic ligand (L) and a transition metal (M).;SOLUTION: There is provided the hollow lattice structure in which a plurality of lipophilic (hydrophobic) functional groups containing a substituent of a hydrocarbon compound are oriented on the inner surface of the structure, and a plurality of hydrophilic functional groups are oriented on the outer surface thereof to thereby form an amphiphilic molecule. In the hollow transition metal complex, the inner surface is lipophilic, and the outer surface is hydrophilic. Thereby, the aqueous phase-oily phase separation can be carried out in the nano-scale size by dispersing it in the aqueous phase.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
