PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate expression (characters) of a poetry, in particular, a poetry in a foreign language and a voice so that a listener can easily understand and recognize the poetry, in the case that the voice corresponding to the poetry is provided.;SOLUTION: The method of relating a poetry and voice corresponding to the poetry includes: a first step of digitizing the expression of the poetry and then dividing it at division points meeting certain criteria and integrating divided parts using arrangements; a second step of digitizing the voice and recording temporal positions corresponding to groups of the divided words on the voice file and then integrating them using arrangements; and a third step of generating a program which enables the listener to listen to the voice from the voice file in accordance with temporal positions corresponding to groups of words in arrangements while viewing the groups of words. Accordingly, the listener can listen to voices corresponding to arbitrary groups of words while recognizing them. In principle, division criteria are phrases in the case of Chinese poetries and are lines in the case of English poetries, French poetries, and German poetries.
