PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PCR reactor capable of controlling a temperature and reducing electric power consumption by a simple method.;SOLUTION: Since the PCR reactor 20 is rotatable around a horizontal rotary shaft 201 and a heater is mounted on the rotary shaft 201, a temperature gradient is brought about in such a manner that the temperatures of a first well 103, a second well 104 and a third well 105 are set at 95°C, 72°C, 55°C, respectively. It is possible to repeat the process of thermal denaturation (95°C)→annealing (55°C)→extension reaction (72°C) by rotating the PCR reactor 20 to move a liquid drop P of the PCR reactor liquid among the first well 103, the second well 104, and the third well 105.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
