PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more rapidly and readily determining the onset risk of glaucoma in high accuracy, and to provide a kit for more rapidly and readily determining the onset risk of the glaucoma in high accuracy.;SOLUTION: The method for determining the onset risk of the glaucoma uses SNP747 of a prostacyclin receptor gene in the human genome sequence as a marker for determining the onset risk of the glaucoma.
