PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a congestion control method, a congestion control system, a congestion control node device, a node device, and a control program, wherein it is made possible to suppress packet loss by effectively utilizing buffers held by the respective node devices.;SOLUTION: In the congestion control method of a network in which the congestion control node device having the buffers to packets to be transmitted is connected between a host device and a plurality of node devices, the congestion control node device controls limiting speed of the packets transmitted by the plurality of node devices based on used amounts of the buffers, and the plurality of node devices temporarily store surplus packets in built-in buffers when the limiting speed of the packets is controlled to rating or below.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
