PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for forming a black thermal-sprayed film of yttrium oxide by using a white powdered material of YSB2/SBOSB3/SBfor thermal spraying. PSOLUTION: The black thermal-sprayed film of yttrium oxide is formed on the surface of a substrate with a plasma spraying method which uses the white powdered material of YSB2/SBOSB3/SBfor thermal spraying and uses a mixture gas obtained by adding hydrogen gas to an inert gas such as Ar or He, as a working gas for generating a plasma jet, while converting a part of the white YSB2/SBOSB3/SBpowders to black particles of YSB2/SBOSB3-x/SBthat has lost a part of oxygen in the YSB2/SBOSB3/SBpowder through a strong reducing action of atomic hydrogen contained in a plasma heat source.
