PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent control or monitoring by an unintended user in a sound system comprising a network connecting sound equipment and a controller controlling the sound equipment.;SOLUTION: An amplifier 1 and a PC 2 with remote control software for controlling the amplifier 1 mounted thereon, are network-connected. A memory 21 of the PC 2 stores account information on a user and user role information 35 defining authority of the user for the amplifier 1. A memory 11 of the amplifier 1 stores UserInfo information 45 comprising an account of the user and a user role corresponding to the account. When the PC 2 sends a control request to the amplifier 1, the amplifier 1 permits the control request on condition that the UserInfo information 45 contains an account matching the account information 33 of the user having made the control request and control authority is imparted by the user role corresponding to the account.
