PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can ecologically and low-costly manufacture a colored polymer particle that is excellent in fundamental performances such as electrification, as well as a toner, a developer, a process cartridge, an image forming device and an image forming method, using the colored polymer particle to allow the image to have high quality. PSOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a colored polymer particle includes polymerizing a radical polymerizable monomer composition containing at least a dyestuff and a radical polymerizable monomer in a supercritical fluid or a subcritical fluid to obtain the colored polymer particle that is insoluble in the supercritical fluid or the subcritical fluid that dissolves at least the radical polymerizable monomer, but does not dissolve the polymer particle given by the polymerization of the radical polymerizable monomer.
