PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner lance for charging powdery and granular matter, obtaining a high raw material yield in which powdery and granular matter supplied into a smelting reduction furnace is hardly scattered in exhaust gas.;SOLUTION: The burner lance has a multiple tube structure with a first tube body 1a, a second tube body 2a, and a third tube body 3a concentrically arranged in this order from inside. A powdery and granular matter flow passage x is inside the first tube body 1a, a gas fuel flow passage y comprises a space between the first tube body 1a and the second tube body 2a, and a combustion assist gas flow passage z comprises a space between the second tube body 2a and the third tube body 3a. Leading ends of the respective flow passages x, y, z compose a discharging port and the tips of the first tube body 1a and the second tube body 2a are positioned more inward than the leading end of the third tube body 3a in the burner. A leading end inner diameter DX of the third tube body 3a, an inner diameter DX0of the third tube body 3 at a leading end position of the second tube body 2a, and a leading end inner diameter D1 of the first tube body 1a satisfy D1≤DX≤DX0. As the flow rate of the powdery and granular matter discharged from the lance leading end is increased, the powdery and granular matter is hardly scattered in exhaust gas and a high raw material yield is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
