PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact virtual sound image localization processor without the need of costs, which is capable of: reflecting a measured result of a head transfer function including floor surface reflection sound in a prescribed sound source direction in the horizontal direction; obtaining an excellent virtual sound image localization capable of out-of-head localization; reducing the processes of hardware and software; and reducing the burdens of an operation process, in a virtual sound image localization process using a stereo headphone.;SOLUTION: The virtual sound image localization processor includes a signal processing part, a stereo headphone and a control part. The control part stores a set of filter coefficients and delay tap coefficients calculated on the basis of the measured result of the head transfer function including the floor surface reflection sound in the prescribed sound source direction in the horizontal direction to the first filter circuit, second filter circuit, third filter circuit and first delay circuit and second delay circuit of the reflection sound composition processing part and out-of-head localization processing part of the signal processing part respectively and performs the virtual sound image localization process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
