PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently preparing a monoclonal antibody, even with respect to a sparingly-soluble epitope to which an immunization method by the administration of peptides is not applied.;SOLUTION: The method for preparing a monoclonal antibody to a sparingly-soluble epitope includes a step of inserting a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide, containing a sparingly-soluble epitope to a region encoding a hexon protein hypervariable region of adenovirus vector to prepare a recombinant adenovirus vector; a step of infecting a mammal (except humans) with the recombinant adenovirus vector, to immunize the mammal against a fusion protein of hexon protein and the polypeptide; a step of preparing hybridoma, by using cells collected from the immunized mammal, and a step of selecting hybridoma, to produce an antibody that specifically recognizes the sparingly-soluble epitope and recovers the monoclonal antibody from the hybridoma.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
