PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air entrainment in the solution casting process.;SOLUTION: A circumferential surface 32c runs in the X-direction when a drum body 32a rotates. A solution casting die 30 spouts a dope 21 onto the circumferential surface 32c. The dope 21 forms a solution cast bead 40 from an outlet 30a to the circumferential surface 32c and then forms a solution cast film 33 on the circumferential surface 32c. A stripping roller 34 strips the solution cast film 33 from the circumferential surface 32c and sends the same to a tenter as a wet film 47. The circumferential surface 32c from which the solution cast film 33 has been stripped contacts a sponge roller 76. The liquid droplet on the circumferential surface 32c is absorbed by the sponge roller 76. In a dry wind chamber 75 formation of the liquid droplet on the circumferential surface 32c is prevented while the liquid droplet remaining on the circumferential surface 32c is vaporized by blowing dry air to the circumferential surface 32c.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
