PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool having a clamp mechanism, having an excellent working efficiency for replacement of a cutting insert, simply formed, and having high cutting insert fixing force in a rotary tool in which a plurality of cutting inserts are installed at the same time.;SOLUTION: This cutting tool includes: an end part which is positioned at the end, projects radial outward, and has a plurality of insert mounting parts to which the cutting inserts are mounted, respectively; and a base end part having a plurality of chip pockets and a plurality of slits formed adjacent to the chip pockets, respectively. The end part is disposed at the end of the base end part. The plurality of insert mounting parts are inserted into the plurality of slits at the base end part so as to be adjacent to the chip pockets at the base end part, respectively, and fixed to the base end part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
