PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a uniform optimum lens shape for each color with zero space between adjacent microlenses.;SOLUTION: A photosensitive material which is colored with a pigment or dye as needed is uniformly formed on a second flat surface 21 of a transparent film provided on a substrate 11, a predetermined position of the photosensitive material is selectively irradiated with an adequate quantity of ultraviolet ray, or the irradiation is performed, as needed, by use of a reticle plate as a mask means having a lens pattern shape adjusted in light transmittance stepwise or continuously with a light shielding film, and developing processing is performed to the photosensitive material irradiated with ultraviolet ray to form the surface thereof into a lens shape. According to this, a blue-colored microlens 24B, a green-colored microlens 24G, and a red-colored microlens 24R are successively formed as a colored microlens array 24 of a microlens shape responding to requested performances of a device and according to each color, with the peripheral parts of the respective microlenses being mutually overlapped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
