PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniquely identify a computer terminal when there are several computer terminals having the same identifier in a network (WAN).;SOLUTION: This Internet storage name service method includes: retrieving an iSNSDB based on the network (NW) entity ID of a device attribute registration request message, and retrieving the iSCSIDB based on the NW entity index corresponding to the NW entity ID when the NW entity ID of the message matches the NW entity ID of the iSNSDB, and deciding whether or not the iSCSI name of the ISCSI node index corresponding to the iSCSI node index associated with the acquired NW entity index matches the iSCSI name of the message.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
