PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant magnesium alloy for casting having excellent heat resistance and castability.;SOLUTION: The heat resistant magnesium alloy for casting comprises, by mass, 1 to 15% Ca, and Al, wherein the total of the Ca content and the Al content is 4 to 25%, and the balance Mg with inevitable impurities.
