MIXED FLOW WORK LINE SYSTEM USING AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out work to securely cope with workpieces through work devices in a work line using an automated guided vehicle (AGV).;SOLUTION: In the mixed flow work line system using AGV, workpieces for different work contents are respectively mounted on the AGV that moves along a guide passage R to be carried to work zones which are arranged in parallel. Work devices for carrying out work to the workpieces based on corresponding work content information are provided at the work zone. Work content information for each workpiece is controlled with reference to a discrimination number of each workpiece. A discrimination number of each AGV and the discrimination numbers of the workpieces to be carried by the AGV are controlled with reference to each other. Operation of a plurality of AGVs is thus controlled. As the AGV 08 reaches the work zone Z5a, the discrimination number 118 of the workpiece is obtained based on the discrimination number 08 of the AGV. Work content information for the workpiece is obtained based on the discrimination number 118 of the workpiece.
