PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical equipment failure analyzing device and a medical equipment failure analyzing method for specifying defective components on the basis of a plurality of alerts generated by analyzing a log file acquired from a plurality of units or components. PSOLUTION: This medical equipment failure analyzing device 100 connected through a network 002 to medical equipment 001 simultaneously outputs a plurality of logs as history of operations.The device includes: a log collection part 101 which receives a log output by the medical equipment 001; a database 106 for log analysis in which the correspondence between keywords and failure components estimated as failure places and the types of operation failures are stored; a log analyzing part 102 for, when the operation failure corresponding to the keywords included in the simultaneously output logs exist, outputting failure information including the information of the failure components estimated as the failure places corresponding to the operation failures; and a failure component specification part 104 for specifying the failure components which is highly likely to be defective in response to the output failure information.
