DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FIXING LIFT CHAIN IN FORK LIFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for fixing a lift chain in a fork lift capable of avoiding any excessive stress concentration to a specified part in a chain anchor member and reducing the stress in a weld part.;SOLUTION: A chain anchor member 20 is fixed by welding to a side of an outer mast 12 of a mast mechanism. A moving end of a lift chain 17 is connected to an elevating/lowering lift bracket, and a fixed end is connected to the chain anchor member 20. The chain anchor member 20 comprises a mounting base part 21 having a weld part 23 to the outer mast 12, and a chain connection part 22 projected horizontally from the mounting base part 21. The length (h1) in the vertical direction of the mounting base part 21 is set to be larger than the length (h2) in the vertical direction of the chain connection part 22. A recessed corner Fa is formed by the chain connection part 22 and the mounting base part 21, and the recessed corner Fa has an arc-shaped surface 22c.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
