PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bent tube of an endoscope, made of bent pieces which can be inexpensively made, and allowing an operation wire to be easily disposed in a wire guide.;SOLUTION: The bent tube 52 of the endoscope is composed of the bent pieces 62 connected one after another in such a way as bendable in the direction of the axis of an insertion part 12 of the endoscope 10. Each bent piece has slits 82a 82b, 86a and 86b, which are disposed in the direction crossing the axis of the bent piece and by which a part of the operation wire 50 can be disposed from the outside to the inside of the bent piece, between one side 64a and the other side 64b of a base part 64.
