PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof glass capable of forming a fireproof window having a wider opening as compared with the conventional fireproof glass and having a continuous appearance, a fireproof glass joined body, a fireproof glass window structure and a method of constructing the fireproof glass window.;SOLUTION: The fireproof glass 10 comprises a transparent glass 10a made of heat-resistant crystallized glass having a linear expansion coefficient of -10 to 10×10^-7/K having a rectangular shape. At least the end face at one side of the transparent glass 10a is formed as an inclined end face 10c inclined by an angle of θ within a range of 30°-45° to a translucent face 10b almost over the whole face. The fireproof glass joined body and the fireproof window structure are made by joining a first fireproof glass and a second fireproof glass at the inclined end face 10 by a scarf joint, and the fireproof glass window constructing method includes the step of joining the first fireproof glass and the second fireproof glasses at the inclined end face 10 by a scarf joint.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
