PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a balloon from bursting or coming off an attachment place, or a gap from being generated between the balloon and the attachment place.;SOLUTION: The balloon 36 is arranged at the distal end 25 of an insertion part 14 to be inserted to a body cavity, so as to cover an ultrasonic vibrator 34 in order to prevent the attenuation of an ultrasonic signal. The balloon 36 is expanded by driving a pressurization pump 20, so as to supply the water 17 of a storage container 18. A safety device 13 is arranged in the middle of a route for supplying the water 17 from the storage container 18 to the balloon 36, and includes a monitor balloon 45 which is spherically formed with a freely expansible latex rubber. The monitor balloon 45 is constituted to burst before the balloon 36 bursts when the water 17 over a prescribed amount is supplied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
