PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate in real time a prediction value of measurement seismic intensity from an acceleration of earthquake motion during generation of an earthquake before finish of the earthquake.;SOLUTION: An acceleration value of vertical movement of measured earthquake motion is corrected, and the prediction seismic intensity Iap for alarm which is the prediction value of the measurement seismic intensity is calculated by using a following relational expression (1) formed between the corrected acceleration value Afu[n] of the vertical movement and the prediction seismic intensity Iap for alarm; the relational expression (1): Iap=2.0αlog(Afu[n])+2.0β+0.94, wherein the coefficient α and the coefficient β are regression coefficients calculated by regression analysis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
