PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining part forming device and a joining part forming method of an article to be joined capable of forming a joining part having a high joining property when a joining part consisting of a low melting point metal is formed on the article to be joined, and to provide a device and a method for joining the glass substrate using them.;SOLUTION: The device for forming the joining part consisting of the low melting point metal on one surface of the body to be joined is provided with a molten metal pond forming means constituted freely movably to one surface of the body to be joined and forming the molten metal pond by supplying a molten low melting point metal on one surface of the body to be joined and a foreign body removing means whose one end part is inserted on the surface of the molten metal pond and removes the foreign body in the molten metal pond and the foreign body removing means is disposed on the rear of the moving direction of the molten metal pond forming means and moves in synchronism with the molten metal pond forming means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
