PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactivity measurement method of radioactive waste capable of further improving the measurement precision of the radioactivity.;SOLUTION: A specimen 21 is mounted on a turning table 9. The turning table 9 is made to turn, radiation rays radiated from the turning specimen 21 are detected by a radiation ray detector 4 and the radiation ray counting rate is obtained. The radiation ray counting rate is stored in a memory device of a drive control device 14. After that, the radiation rays radiated from the specimen 21 are detected by the radiation ray detector 2 while turning the specimen 21. The radiation counting rate obtained by the radiation detector 2 is inputted into a pulse height analyzer 15. In measuring the radiation rays by the radiation ray detector 2, a turning table controller 14C controls a third driving device 13 using the radiation counting rate (dead time amount) read from the memory device, and controls the rotation speed of the turning table 9, i.e. the turning speed of the specimen 21 is controlled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
