PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latest assessed value, its evidence and writer information in order to promote security of old paintings and calligraphic works, and safe commercial transaction and hand down the value of a work to succeeding generations.;SOLUTION: To clarify the value of an old painting and calligraphic work, truth/falsehood appraising methods and price assessing methods are unified in each genre, and a certification of authenticity is issued for each work. The certificate of authenticity in which a registration number, the photograph of the work, an assessed value, assessment grounds and writer information are written is stored together with the work and inherited. When the owner of the work performs connection to the old text-image assessing system via the Internet to input a registration number written in the certification of authenticity, the user can confirm the certification of authenticity and recognize the latest assessed value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
