PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow color differences to be finely evaluated per level of lightness and saturation with respect to a hue and to display a color chart on a monitor screen in a visually intelligible form without generating individual chart pictures neither performing colorimetry of individual data. PSOLUTION: A color chart display device includes: a storage means 20 wherein data relating to a color chart is stored; a display means 30 for displaying the color chart; an input means 40 for designating a hue; and a chart generation means 10 for taking out data relating to a color chart of the designated hue, from the storage means 20 to generate a color chart 61 wherein a plurality of color patches 61-1 different by lightness or saturation in the designated hue are arranged, and displaying this color chart by the display means 30.
