PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reception errors from being easily generated even by accelerating a communication rate or increasing the number of channels to be multiplexed by prolonging a code length.;SOLUTION: Code division multiplex signals 31 transmitted from a transmission part 10 are propagated through an optical fiber transmission line 30, transmitted to a reception part 40, decoded in the reception part and acquired as reception signals 65. A decoder 52 performs correlation processing to the code division multiplex signals and generates and outputs correlation signals 53 comprising autocorrelation components and mutual correlation components. An autocorrelation component extraction part 54 extracts the autocorrelation components from the correlation signals. An optical pulse width extender 64 extends the width of an optical pulse constituting an autocorrelation signal 63 and outputs it. A reception signal processing part 66 converts the autocorrelation signals outputted from the optical pulse width extender into electric signals and generates the reception signals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
