PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a diagnostic reading report relative to examination of follow-up observation. PSOLUTION: A CPU reads a past report 130 from a report server when generation of a report is instructed. The CPU reads a current image corresponding to a past image which has been the key image of the past report 130 from an image server on the basis of original image link information 117 on the past report 130 and corresponding information associated with the past report 130. The CPU generates a key image from the current image. The CPU comprises key image information 114 corresponding to the key image and records it in a current report 132. Also, the CPU copies each of pieces of information 112, 113, 115, and 116 included in the past report 130 and records it in the current report 132.
