PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor winding temperature measurement method of a winding machine for utilizing a standard function of an inverter, and simply, inexpensively and accurately calculating a winding temperature in an electric motor while it is operated, and to provide an electric motor controller of the winding machine.;SOLUTION: The electric motor controller includes: a first winding temperature calculating means for indirectly calculating the winding temperature from an operation state of the electric motor 6 provided in the inverter 4 when the electric motor 6 is operated; a second winding temperature calculating means for utilizing the DC brake function of the inverter 4 so as to carry a DC current to the winding when the electric motor 6 is deactivated, calculating a resistance of the winding from an applied DC voltage and the carried DC current, and also calculating the winding temperature from the resistance of the winding; a correcting means for correcting the winding temperature calculated by the first winding temperature calculating means with the winding temperature calculated by the second winding temperature calculating means; and an interrupting means for interrupting drive power supplied to the electric motor if the corrected winding temperature exceeds a predetermined value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
