METHOD, DEVICE, AND PROGRAM FOR REPORTING ESTIMATED ARRIVAL TIME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report a highly accurate estimated arrival time by estimating the arrival time according to actual movement of a user of a transportation means. PSOLUTION: In a user terminal 10 which the user possesses, a route being actually used by the user is identified based on a current position of the user identified by station discrimination information of an automatic ticket gate device 30, from among route information acquired beforehand from a route information retrieval device 20. Furthermore, the time of arrival to a destination which is estimated to be in that identified route when the user leaves the current position at the present time and moves up to the destination, is acquired. The estimated arrival time is displayed on the display device of the user terminal 10. Moreover, electronic mails expressing the estimated arrival time are sent to relevant-persons' terminals 40 which relevant persons to be affected by the arrival time of the user use.
