PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an aluminum based metallic material made-fin material by which a chemical conversion coating having excellent corrosion resistance, moisture resistance and adhesiveness to a hydrophilic coating film is formed in a short period of time and which uses an environmentally friendly non-chromium chemical conversion treating agent, and to provide the aluminum base metallic material made-fin material manufactured by the manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the aluminum based metallic material made-fin material has a metallic material activating step for activating the surface of an aluminum based metallic material, a chemical conversion coating forming step for bringing the prescribed non-chromium chemical conversion treating agent into contact with the surface of the aluminum base metallic material to form the chemical conversion coating, a post treatment step for treating the chemical conversion coating with an aqueous post treating agent containing a water soluble resin comprising a prescribed polyacrylic acid based resin and/or a prescribed polyvinyl alcohol and a prescribed insolubilizer after the chemical conversion coating forming step and a hydrophilic coating film forming step for forming the hydrophilic coating film after the post treatment step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
