PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display operation terminal device and an image display device having more improved operability, and to provide a display operation system and a display operation method which are applied to these devices. PSOLUTION: A sub-panel 200 sends image information and a control signal stored in a memory 23 to a main panel 100. The main panel 100 inputs the received image to a buffer 3, inputs the control signal to a control part 1 and displays the received image on the basis of the control signal. The sub-panel 200 then transmits a control signal for operation and performs operation such as the updating of the image displayed on the main panel and the switching of display between the sub-panel 200 and the main panel 100.
