PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive surface-treated steel sheet superior in corrosion resistance at cut ends even though having a sheet thickness exceeding 2.0 mm, which can be regenerated to a product member and from which an iron resource is sufficiently recovered.;SOLUTION: The base steel sheet comprises, by mass%, 0.001 to 0.1% C, 0.1% or less Si, 0.05 to 0.15% Mn, 0.02% or less P, 0.001 to 0.010% S, 0.003 to 0.03% Al, 0.03 to 0.2% Ti, 0.001 to 0.1% Zr, while satisfying Zr/Ti ≥ 0.03. The surface-treated steel sheet superior in corrosion resistance at cut ends has a zinc-based plating layer with coating weight of 5 g/m2 or more per a single side, on a single side or both sides of the above steel sheet, or further has either or both of an inorganic coating layer or/and an organic coating layer formed in this order on the surface of the above zinc-based plating layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
