EAVES GUTTER PROTECTING MEMBER AND EAVES GUTTER PROTECTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves gutter protecting member and an eaves gutter protecting structure efficiently guiding rainwater to an eaves gutter while preventing the intrusion of dust into the eaves gutter, and preventing the damage of an eaves gutter caused by a snowslide from a roof.;SOLUTION: The eaves gutter protecting member 29A protecting the eaves gutter 28 from snow lumps falling from a slanting roof part 21 of a building is composed of a mounting plate part 30 fixed to the roof part 21; an inclined plate part 31 extending from the eaves side edge of the mounting plate part 30 and disposed on the upper face of the roof part 21 along the roof part 21; and a curved part 32 of approximately circular arc shaped cross section extending from the eaves side edge of the inclined plate part 31 and curved to return to the building side from the lower side. The inclined plate part 31 and the curved part 32 almost cover the upper part of the eaves gutter 28, and the lower end of the curved part 32 is located on the building side rather than the eaves side end of the eaves gutter 28. The eaves side end of the curved part 32 is located slightly on the building side from the eaves side end of the eaves gutter 28, and the eaves side end of the curved part 32 and the eaves side surface of the curved part 32 are fixed in a mutually approaching manner to the roof part 21.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
