PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory and a device for D/A conversion by which a required D/A converter can more inexpensively be realized. ;SOLUTION: The D/A converter is provided with a decoder 2 that receives a digital signal input IN in a 1st number of bits, divides the 1st number of the bits into a 2nd number of bit groups. Furthermore, 2nd number bit group converters 3-1 to 3-n provided for the 2nd number of bit groups select one weight to each related bit group, uses it and converters the bit group into an analog form in response to the 2nd number of the bit groups to generate 2nd number bit group analog outputs OBG1 to OBGn. An adder 4 sums 2nd number of bit group analog outputs to generate an analog signal output OUT denoting the digital signal input IN.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
