REPAIR METHOD OF STEEL SHEET-PILE STRUCTURE AND WORKING BARGE FOR REPAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform repair work on a steel sheet-pile structure by using a dedicated work barge and easily installing a water cut-off box to a prescribed location from sea-side work.;SOLUTION: In a repair method for performing repair work by installing the water cut-off box 3 for repair work to the steel sheet-pile structure 51, the work barge 1 with the water cut-off box 3 and a lifting and transferring device 4 is moored with an interval S between its starboard 1a and a quay wall 50. The water cut-off box 3 lifted by the lifting and transferring device 4 is made close to the steel sheet-pile structure 51 of the quay wall 50 from the side of the work barge 1 and lowered to a prescribed height from between the work barge 1 and the quay wall 50. The water cut-off box 3 is installed in such a way that the front surface of the water cut-off box 3 may be opposed to the steel sheet-pile structure 51 into contact with it to discharge water from the inside of the water cut-off box 3, secure a prescribed work space, and perform repair work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
