METHOD OF ALIGNING LIGHT CURTAIN MEMBER, LIGHT CURTAIN OR LIGHT GATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of properly carrying out alignment of a supporting member of a light curtain formed by a beam transmitted between a transmitter and a receiver of the supporting member.;SOLUTION: A pair of alignment radiation beams (33, 33') in the opposite direction respectively are projected between a supporting member (17) and a supporting member (19). As for one of the beams in the opposite direction, a radiation emission function and a radiation receiving function of the supporting members are made to be opposite respectively. In order that the optical alignment of the supporting members with each other may become optimum, the radiation beam that is directly emitted and the alignment radiation beam in the opposite direction are detected by radiation alignment detectors disposed at the supporting member (17) and the supporting member (19) respectively, and the third alignment radiation beam (33") is projected. At least one alignment radiation beam (33') is in the opposite direction against the other two alignment radiation beam (33, 33"), and the third alignment radiation beam (33") is coaxially formed with either one (33') of the other alignment beams (33, 33').;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
