PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable and efficient header pipe unit constructing method for performing easy position adjusting work on the equipment connection side of a faucet box, in particular, when piping a sheathed pipe developed in a construction site, and to provide a header pipe unit to be used therein.;SOLUTION: In the constructing method, water/hot water supply piping is performed using the water/hot water supply header pipe unit having a header with a flexible resin pipe welded to a header pipe and incorporating the sheathed pipe for storing the resin pipe and a highly rigid cap to be slidably mounted between the resin pipe and the sheathed pipe. The header is previously and temporarily fixed in front of an actual mounting position and the resin pipe on the equipment connection side is protruded from the actual mounting position on equipment, cut and connected with a joint. Then, the joint connected to the resin pipe on the equipment connection side is fixed to the actual mounting position on the equipment while moving the sheathed pipe storing the resin pipe for position adjustment, and the header is moved back to the actual mounting position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
