PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraelastic and flexible-element member with the amount of elastic deformation limit exceeding the amount of elastic deformation limit of a conventional member, despite the same distance between supporting points, by folding back the member and increasing the substantial length of the member, without the use of high-strength steel more expensive than ordinary steel and hardly capable of securing quality of welding.;SOLUTION: An integral connection is established in a folded portion which is provided at the axial end of a structural member composed of inner and outer cylinders.
