PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction of a breaker or the like with an auxiliary switch or the like attached thereon by measuring contact resistance particularly when the auxiliary switch or the like is in an open state.;SOLUTION: A device 10 for measuring contact resistance between contacts of the auxiliary switch or the like includes a first voltage measuring means 30 for measuring a voltage between the contacts and a resistance measuring means 40 for measuring the contact resistance between the contacts by feeding a test current between the contacts in a closed state. A reference voltage smaller than a voltage generated when the contacts are in an open state and larger than a voltage generated when the contacts are in a closed state is set. When the voltage between the contacts measured by the first voltage measuring means 30 is not more than the reference voltage, the resistance measuring means 40 measures the contact resistance between the contacts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
