PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating system start control device for starting an operating system corresponding to an application to be executed with ease and in a short time.;SOLUTION: An operating system selection information storage unit 2 stores application identification information of an application for each operating system necessary for executing the application. An operating system specification unit 3 searches the storage unit 2 on the basis of an application specifying command to specify an operating system to be started.
