PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a termite controller having improved alkali resistance, soil stability and durability of effect, comprising an active ingredient sealed in high concentration by excellently microcapsulating a neonicotinoid-based compound having high safety to human organism. ;SOLUTION: This termite controller is obtained by grinding a slurry comprising a neonicotinoid-based compound, a dispersion medium and a dispersant containing a tertiary amine and having ≥1,000 molecular weight by a wet method and microcapsulating the slurry. The neonicotinoid-based compound is (E)-1-(2-chlorothiazol-5-ylmethyl)-3-methyl-2-nitroguanidine. The dispersion medium contains ≥50 wt.% of an aromatic organic solvent having ≥200°C boiling point. The amount of the neonicotinoid-based compound is 5-60 wt.% based on the total of the neonicotinoid-based compound and the dispersion medium in the slurry.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
