摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally-friendly low-melting polyester resin by using a magnesium compound on which a coating layer comprising titanic acid has been formed as a polycondensation catalyst in the production of a polyester comprising terephthalic acid as a main acid component and ethylene glycol and 1,4-butanediol in a molar ratio of 80:20 to 30:70 as main diol components, and to provide a thermally adhesive composite binder fiber using the polyester resin and a nonwoven fabric obtained using the fiber.;SOLUTION: The low-melting polyester resin having a crystalline melting point of 100-190°C uses terephthalic acid as a main acid component and ethylene glycol and 1,4-butanediol in a molar ratio of 80:20 to 30:70 as main diol components, and contains a magnesium compound on which a coating layer comprising titanic acid has been formed as a polymerization catalyst added in an amount of 30-250 ppm. The thermally adhesive composite binder fiber comprising the polyester resin and the nonwoven fabric obtained using the fiber are also provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
