PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiseptic sterilizer which reinforces the original sterilizing force of a 1,2-alkanediol against wide bacterial species, to provide a cosmetic, medicine or food containing the antiseptic sterilizer, and to provide a method for the antiseptic sterilization of a cosmetic, medicine or food.;SOLUTION: This antiseptic sterilizer contains a 5 to 10C 1,2-alkanediol and lysozyme chloride and/or its salt, and the cosmetic, medicine or food contains the antiseptic sterilizer.
