PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the examination of pyrethroidal pesticides capable of detecting multiple kinds of pyrethroids with a single enzyme by using an enzyme inhibition technique.;SOLUTION: The examination method comprises a step 10 to perform enzymatic contact in such a manner to act the pyrethroidal pesticide in a specimen as an enzyme inhibitor for apyrase, a luminescent reaction step 11 to generate light by adding luciferin, adenosine triphosphate and luciferase to the enzyme-contacted mixture, a luminescence determination step 12 to determine the luminescence, and a concentration calculating step to calculate the apyrase activity levels in a state free from pyrethroidal pesticide and in the specimen from the luciferase luminescence intensity in the absence of the addition of apyrase, the luciferase luminescence intensity developed by the addition of apyrase in the absence of the pyrethroidal pesticide and the luminescence intensity generated by the specimen and determining the concentration of the pyrethroidal pesticide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
