PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antiseptic sterilizer reinforcing the original anti-microbial force of 1,2-octanediol, and to provide a cosmetic, a medicine and a food each compounded with the antiseptic sterilizer.;SOLUTION: The antiseptic sterilizer is characterized by containing one or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of the 1,2-octanediol and thiosulfates, hyposulfites, sulfites and hydrogensulfites, preferably one or more kinds of the compounds selected from the group consisting of the thiosulfates, the hyposulfites, the sulfites and the hydrogensulfites, and the cosmetic, the medicine and the food are each compounded with the antiseptic sterilizer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
